Round plastics container with top non-porous wall and lower porous wall made of open-cell, low-pressure polyethylene has a valve in the lower wall leading via a line to the top wall space where it issues. If the container is for use in drying the contents then silica gel should be placed in the upper or lid space. If it is used as a refuse container a disinfectant such as quaternary ammonia should be used, held in a sponge in the lid space. |
