PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a gap at an upper side joined part of a hood body with a forward plate by projecting an intermediate part except each side in the width direction of a suspended piece continuously provided to top members of the hood body and the forward plate so as to be flush with the surface of a peripheral side plate member to be returned and overlapped on the right and left sides of the suspended piece. SOLUTION: A hood body A comprises a peripheral side plate member 1 to form right and left side parts b, c and a top plate member 3 to form a top part (d), and a suspended piece 3' which is continuous to a forward edge of the top part (d) and suspended downwardly is integrated with the top plate member 3. The whole intermediate part except the part overlapped with a returned part 1' of the peripheral side plate member 1 on the right and left sides in the suspended piece 3', is projected forward by the thickness of the peripheral side plate member 1. As a result, the surfaces of the joined edges of approximately portal shape in the front view to be formed by the suspended piece 3' and the right and left returned parts 1' are flush with each other. The combustion waste gas and oil smoke is prevented from being leaked from the hood thereby. |
