<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To temporarily utilize a prescribed area in a built-in data cache memory as a stack when power ON is reset, to improve the application efficiency of the built-in memory and to attain also complicated initializing processing at the reset of power ON. SOLUTION: Immediately after turning on power, an initializing processing part 4 allocates a prescribed area in the data cache memory 1 as a stack area in accordance with initializing information entered by a stack allocation/release processing part 2 through an initializing information entering part 5 and executes minimum initializing processing necessary for processing for turning a main memory to a usable state. Then main memory configuration processing including the judgement/discrimination of the type of a single in-line memory module(SIMM) and the initialization of a memory controller is executed. Then the stack allocation is released by the processing part 2 and the prescribed area used only for the stack can be used as a data cache memory.</p> |
