<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture toner particles having a narrow particle diameter distribution and easy in control efficiently and at a low cost by performing plurality of times a process in which a part of a composition is mixed or dispersed in a liquid and passed through pores in a porous body for granulation, during the processes of an electrophotographic toner manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A granulating process wherein a liquid with a part of a toner composition mixed or dispersed therein is passed through pores for granulation is performed plural times. For example, a toner composition solution 1 is passed through pores in a porous body 2 and dispersed into a dispersion medium 4 to produce toner composition solution particles 3. Further the dispersion medium 4 in which the toner composition solution particles 3 are dispersed is passed through a porous body 5 having greater bore diameters than the porous body 2 and is dispersed into a dispersion medium 6 that is compatible with the dispersion medium 4, so as to produce a toner composition solution particle aggregate 7. Thereafter, a solvent in the toner composition solution particles 3 constituting the toner composition solution particle aggregate 7 is subjected to heat treatment or the like and removed to produce a toner particle aggregate 9.</p> |
