<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agglomerate having two layer structure which improves productivity and fuel cost in a blast furnace without powdering at the low temp. part in the blast furnace. SOLUTION: A core I is formed with the raw material containing >=5wt.% metallic iron and/or >=5wt.% carbon, and after forming one or more layers of outer peripheral layers II enclosing the core I with raw material containing >=10wt.% metallic iron and/or <=5wt.% carbon, this formed material is sintered under oxidizing atmosphere to make the aggregate. By this method, the aggregate for iron-making composed of the core I having the iron source containing the metallic iron and/or the carbon and one or more layers of the outer peripheral layers II enclosing the core I and having mixed material of iron oxide containing no hematite, calcium ferrite and slag, is produced.</p> |
