PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color generating method being not limited to a region by using a diffusion equation for liquid as a deciding means when luminance of a pixel for both regions is decided, when a region constituted with pixels having other luminance is overlapped on a region constituted with pixels having some luminance. SOLUTION: A diffusion equation for liquid is used as a deciding means when luminance of a pixel for both regions is decided, when a region 102 constituted with pixels having other luminance is overlapped on a region 101 constituted with pixels having some luminance. The diffusion equation is expressed by dc/dt=D.Δc. In the equation, (c) is the concentration defined by the ratio of mass of a component to the whole mass, D is a quantity called the diffusion coefficient, andΔis a differential operator known as the Laplace operator. The diffusion coefficient D is determined for each adequate calculation time step, a color of a pixel of a diffusing region is determined and displayed.
