<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release a physical disorder feeling between the actual releasing and engaging condition of a friction clutch provided between an engine and a mechanical transmission, and the operation feeling of a clutch pedal to control the above clutch. SOLUTION: In a vehicle in which a friction clutch connected in series to a torque converter with lock-up clutch is controlled to connect and disconnect by a clutch pedal 8, a clutch sensor 9 to output a signal responding to the operating condition of the clutch pedal 8 is provided. By providing a control unit 5 to control the disconnecting point of the clutch and the connecting point of the clutch of the friction clutch responding to the pedal stroke and the pedal speed calculated depending on the output signal of the clutch sensor 9, a physical disorder feeling between the pedal operation and the connecting and disconnecting condition of the friction clutch is reduced, so as to make it possible to obtain a good operating feeling.</p> |
