<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control device capable of attaining a power supply controlling function based on software for a computer having no power supply controlling function utilizing software. SOLUTION: Power supply control for a computer body 1 is executed by turning on/off a power supply to an AC power supply line 5. All of an AC line control unit interface circuit 22, an interface circuit 21a, a timer circuit 23a, and a MODEM interface circuit 24a necessary for power supply control are mounted on a control board 2 to be inserted into an extension slot 12 built in the computer body 1. Even when the computer body 1 is a computer uncorresponding to a power supply controlling function based on software, the power supply controlling function is easily added by setting up a power supply ON/OFF command in the interface circuit 21a.</p> |
