PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image defect corresponding to increase of a transfer residual toner quantity on an image carrier after transferring. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with the residual toner detecting sensor 75 on the downstream side in the rotary direction of a photopreceptor 1 of a transferring nip part. Meanwhile, (CPU) 80 controls, based on the transfer residual toner quantity information being input from the transfer residual toner detecting sensor 75, in the case of judging that the transfer residual toner on the photoreceptor 1 increases beyond a specific quantity, so as to increase AC component between the electrification bias voltage applied from power source S1 to a magnetic brush 3, or controls so as to increase peripheral speed of the magnetic brush 3 by outputting the rotary speed change signal to rotary driving means of the magnetic brush 3. In such a manner, the excellent image forming can be performed over a long period by preventing the occurrence of the abnormal image such as the ghost image. |
