PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably regulate an air volume flowing through a bypass passage according to the warming-up state of an engine and to simplify the whole constitution. SOLUTION: A moving stopper 34 having a plurality of stepped parts different in a protrusion length in an axial direction and a bimetal 37 to rotationally displace the moving stopper 34 according to the cooling water temperature of an engine are arranged in the containing space 12A of a housing body 12. By rotationally displacing the moving stopper 34 according to the warming-up state of the engine, one of the stepped parts is brought into a state to make contact with an engaging pin 33 protruded from a valve stem 16. This constitution limits a maximum displacement amount of the valve stem 16 according to a cooling water temperature and variably adjusts the area of the flow passage of the bypass passage 14A according to the warming-up state of the engine. In this case, for example, the whole constitution is simplified in comparison with a case of a throttle valve to regulate the area of the flow passage of the bypass passage according to the warming-up state of an engine being individually arranged. |
