PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image with proper density regardless of the fitting error of the photoreceptor drum of a cartridge or a density sensor unit with respect to an image forming device main body. SOLUTION: By a light emitting light source 2, a patch 33 is irradiated with light. By a reflected light quantity detection part 3, the light reflected from the patch 33 is detected. By a light quantity detection part for a light source 4, the light from the light source 2 is detected. Based on the standard signal values of the density sensor unit 1 and the photoreceptor drum 728 corresponding to the detected results of both detection parts 3 and 4 at a prescribed distance, the error correction information of the unit 1 and the drum 728 from the prescribed distance is calculated by an error detection and correction detection part 16. Based on the error correction information, the reflected light quantity or the quantity of the light from the light source 2 is controlled by a comparison and amplification part 6. |
