摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the temperature rising at a light emitting part and to prevent an operator from mistaking that the camera gets wrong by counting the number of light emitting times and varying the set level of a means for limiting the current of a booster circuit charging a main capacitor when power source voltage is equal to or under a set level after light is emitted by a specified number of times. SOLUTION: The flashing device for the camera is equipped with a flash light discharge tube 14, the main capacitor 6 supplying light emitting energy to the tube 14, the booster circuit 3 charging the capacitor 6 by performing boosting operation, and a charge voltage detection circuit 5 detecting the charge voltage of the capacitor 6. A counter inside a one-chip microcomputer 17 counts the number of light emitting times corresponding to the light emission by the tube 4. When the light is emitted by the specified number of times, the current control of the circuit 3 is performed by raising a power source voltage shutoff level set by the microcomputer 17, which is the comparison voltage of a comparator 700 for limiting the power source current of the circuit 3, and further shutting off the control signal OSC of the circuit 3.
