PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize accurate natural splitting of an inner ring or an outer ring in a split rolling bearing with the inner ring or outer ring bisected along an axis. SOLUTION: A splitting cutout part 20 is provided only at one axial end part of an inner ring 1. The cutout part 20 includes a notch part 21 of nearly V-shape, and a slit 22 axially extended from the tip of the notch part 21. The tip of the slit 22 is extended to the axial center part of an annular recessed part for accommodating an oil seal. This constitution can prevent the generation of an off-specification product caused by the nonconformity of split lines heretofore generated by providing a pair of slits. Since the inner ring 1 can be split even if the cutting edge angle of a tool inserted in the notch part 21 is equal to a notch angle, chipping of a notch and lowering of the service life of the tool can be suppressed.
