PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oriented film having sufficient durability useful for a photoelectric element, by providing this film with a boundary where a base material and an end-sealing material and/or a oriented molecular film are adhered without interposing a fluororesin oriented film. SOLUTION: The oriented thin film has the boundary which is formed by holding the fluororesin oriented film 1 and the oriented molecular film 2 by the base material 3 and the end-sealing material 4 and where the base material 3 and the oriented molecular film 2 are adhered. The surface inclusive of the boundary between the base material 3 and the fluororesin oriented film 1 is generally a plane and may be a curved surface as well. As the size of the boundary between the base material 3 and the fluororesin oriented film is smaller, the mechanical strength of the oriented thin film is higher and, therefore, the smaller size is more preferable. The oriented thin film is more adequately usable for the photoelectric element by using the oriented molecular film having electrical, optical and electrooptic functions for the same. More specifically, such element includes polarizing elements, phase difference plates, diodes, transistors, photodiodes, solar batteries, sensors, etc. |
