PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the image uniform property defect in company with a developing history and toner coat defect by controlling so that respective frequency for magnetic toner carried on the developer carrier transported to a developing area to pass through the charge applying process becomes to approximately same. SOLUTION: This developing device makes the satisfactorily charged magnetic 1 toner only possible to be carried on the developer carrier 1a and to be transported on a developing area, while makes the transporting force for transporting the magnetic toner depending on the static charge quantity of the magnetic toner. Moreover, deterioration of the developer carrier 1a in company with the adherence of flow property imparting agent is prevented by making the electrostatic adhesion of the flow property imparting agent corresponding to the toner so as to be larger than the electrostatic adhesion of the flow property imparting agent corresponding to the developer carrier 1a and the developer quantity regulating member 6. Then, the frequency for the respective magnetic toner carried on the developer carrier 1a transported to the developing area to pass though the charge applying process is severally controlled so as to become approximately same. |
