PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incineration method which has definitely established the safety practice about a nonflammable plastic waster and reduced manufacturing and operating cost together with an incinerator thereof. SOLUTION: The internal pressure of an incinerator is turned in a slightly negative pressure than the atmospheric pressure so that no gas in the furnace may leak out when a waste is discharged into the furnace and the waste is discharged into a primary combustion chamber 2 preliminary preheated at the temperature of 800 deg.C and over. At the same time, the combustion chamber is placed in an oxygen deficient state by stopping the combustion of a primary burner 8 and shitting off the supply of combustion air, thereby releasing gas for the gasification and continuing the combustion of the residue after the gasification by forced combustion of the primary burner and the reflow-in of fresh combustion air for the ashing and discharging a fresh waste again, thus repeating the incineration treatment. Thus construction makes it possible to speed up the incineration rate and reduce the inner volume of the furnace and save the fuel efficiency. In addition to that, there is integrally attached a plant which burns completely the exhausted gas flowing into a secondary combustion chamber 3 at the temperature of 850 deg.C and over and thermally decomposes dioxins thus produced and eliminates dust and dirt and hydrogen chloride contained in the gas so as to make the gas harmless and discharge into the atmosphere. |
