PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously prevent disturbance of an image at the transferring time derived from adhesion defect and a jamming of a transferred material derived from the transporting resistance by providing a roller on a bending part of a blade shape guide member on which the transporting resistance becomes maximum, and making transporting resistance minimized while transporting a transferred material coming into close contact with a phtoreceptor drum. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, recording paper P, after being transport- guided between guide members 21a and 23 oriented to the photoreceptor drum 1, is turned to a transfer area direction when reaching the photoreceptor drum 1, transported between the photoreceptor drum 1 and the guide member 21b on the downstream side of the roller 22, and reaches the transfer area by a transfer pole 8. By this constitution, on the bending part of the blade shape guide member 21 where the transporting direction of the recording paper P is changed, since the recording paper P is transported so as to rub the guide member 21, transporting resistance on the bending part is increased especially in the case of the thick paper whose flexibility is lowered, however, the roller 22 is provided on this section, therefore the transporting resistance on the bending part is satisfactorily reduced, and thus the occurrence of paper jamming or the like can be prevented.
