<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a clear image with high optical availability. SOLUTION: An image H(x, y) for displaying a target image G(x, y) is displayed on a liquid crystal panel 14, and is focused on a PALSML (parallel oriented liquid crystal, spatial light modulator) 18. PALSLM 18 is irradiated with light hνfor reading, and a phase modulated optical imageα(x, y) read from PALSLM 18 is provided with a Fourier-transformation through a lens 26. A phase contrast filter 28 provides only zero-order optical component of the Fourier optical imageαf(x, y) with a fixed phase shift. The phase shifted optical image is provided with an inverse-Fourier transformation through a lens 30, and an output image O(x, y) is projected onto an output plane 34. An optical image O'(x, y) split by a beam sampler 32 is photographed by a photographing device 40, and a conformity of the image (x, y) and the image G(x, y) is evaluated by an evaluation calculation unit 200. Based on this evaluation result, a control unit 100 provides an illumination source of light 12, PALSLM 18 and a phase contrast filter 28 with a feed-back control.</p> |
