PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oriented film manufacturing device that dispenses with the need of rubbing process and can perform application of an oriented film and impartation of orientation anisotropy thereof at the same time. SOLUTION: A heater 11 heats a glass substrate 7 to half-harden a macromolecule soln. 1 to be supplied from a printing roll 5 to the glass substrate 7. The rotational speed of the printing roll 5 and the transfer speed of the glass substrate 7 are controlled so as to allow the printing roll 5 and the glass substrate 7 to have the relative speed, thereby imparting a shearing force to the macromolecule soln. 1 on the glass substrate 7 to generate orientation anisotropy. |
