<p>Non-ohmic resistances for circuit stabilising with high 'n' and controllable 'C' values are produced from sintered ZnO compacts contg. MeF2 additives. Additives comprise 0.05-10.0 mole % PbF2, BaF2 or SrF2 with highest 'n' values given by 0.5-2.0% of PbF2 or BaF2 or 0.3-3.0% SrF2. Other additives cited are 0.05-10.0% (preferred 0.1-3.0%) of CoF2, MnF2, SnF2, NiF2 or CrF3; and 0.05-0% of Bi2O3, CoO or MnO. 'C' value is adjusted by varying thickness of compact without altering 'n' value.</p> |
