PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To house a dosimeter in the same order of layering before and after read by use of a single drive source and a single housing part. SOLUTION: A lowering gear 74 and a raising gear 92 are connected to a rising and lowering rack 24 provided on a liftable inside capsule tower 22. A carrying gear 66 is connected to a carrying rack 31 provided on a capsule pusher 30. The driving force from a driving motor 10 is selectively transmitted to each of the carrying, lowering and raising gears through a quadruple pulley 41. Of twenty dosimeter capsules 1 housed in the layered state within the inside capsule tower, and a dosimeter capsule situated in a reading height Hr is pushed to a reading position Pr by the X1 directional operation of the capsule pusher. After reading of the dosimeter capsule, the dosimeter capsule is pushed back by the X2 directional operation of the capsule pusher, and the inside capsule tower is successively lowered to position the following dosimeter capsule.
