PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person in a can to obtain, weather information at any time and during traveling in a vehicle, and to observe weather information at a destination instead of a current location by arbitrarily selecting weather information, related information, and other informations broadcast constantly from an exclusive broadcasting station, and receiving them at any location. SOLUTION: An information-providing system for car navigation comprises a broadcasting station BRC that gather the weather information of each region and other pieces information peculiar to the region and distributes to each channel for each region by utilizing the electric waves of satellite broadcasting, a weather satellite, and ground wave broadcasting, a receiver RC that receives electric waves transmitted from the broadcasting station BRC, and a signal converter CN that converts information received by the receiver RC to a signal that is displayed on a display ND for car navigation, thus effectively utilizing a car navigation system. |
