<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute heat radiation from an electronic device such as a notebook type computer. SOLUTION: A hinge mechanism for pivotally connecting a display side housing 14 to a CPU side housing 12 in a notebook type computer 10 is constituted of a hinge member consisting of the condensation side end part 38b of a heat pipe 38 fixed on the CPU side housing 12 and a hinge member 52 fixed on the display side housing 14. When the heat pipe 38 receives heat from a heat generative electronic component 24, the heat is transmitted through the end part 38b and the hinge member 52. The heat is also transmitted to a transmission heat block 68 in the housing 14 through a heat pipe 66 and an evaporation side end part 66b and then radiated from the housing 14 to a peripheral environment. Since the housing 14 is utilized for heat radiation, the efficiency of heat radiation is improved.</p> |
