PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge equipped with a mechanism capable of easily and surely hermetically sealing a tape pulling-out hole on the side surface of a process cartridge case. SOLUTION: The tape pulling-out hole 9 formed on the side surface of the process cartridge case 1 in order to pull out a toner shutter tape 10 is constituted of a narrow path 9a formed on its inner side, upper and lower inclined inner surfaces 9b and 9c in front of the path 9a, a supporting surface 9d at its front part and a step part 9f on its upper surface; and is hermetically sealed by fitting a hole stopping member 12 in the hole 9 from the outside. The member 12 is equipped with an elastic sealing material 13 for filling the path 9a at its leading end and provided with a pawl part 12d on its upper surface and a turning regulation part 12e at the rear of the pawl part 12d, and constituted so that the pawl part 12d is engaged with the step part 9f, the turning regulation part 12e abuts on the supporting surface 9d in a state where the member 12 is fit in the hole 9, and turning force acting on the member 12 when the tape is pulled out is supported by the turning regulation part and the supporting surface; whereby it is prevented from coming out. |
