PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a polygon mirror type deflector capable of rotating a polygon mirror without causing wobbling of surface by improving a fixing structure of a fixed shaft and a frame rotatably supporting a rotation material holding the polygon mirror via a dynamic pressure bearing. SOLUTION: In a polygon mirror type deflector 1, a frame 2 extending in the direction of a radius is formed in one body at the shaft end part 32 of a fixed shaft 3. In a peripheral part of a fixed shaft 3 of frame 2, a toroidal concave part 22 is formed, in which a shaft end 42a of a rotation member 4 and a shaft end part 61a of a motor core holder 61 are inserted. The integrated body of the fixed shaft 3 and frame 2 can be manufactured by plastically working of a blank material of aluminum alloy, and then processing a high- accuracy-required part by machining. Since the fixed shaft 3 and frame 2 are integrally molded, this improves an installation accuracy of a fixed shaft and also eliminates the need for couple these materials. |
