PRODUCTION OF GEL AS ADDITIVE FOR MECHANICAL SHIELD PROCESS AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for producing and using a gel as an additive for a mechanical shield process. SOLUTION: The methods for producing and using a gel, is to use the gel as a fluidized medium added to a digged out soil for reducing a soil penetration property in an excavation system by mixing a digged out soil with a fluidized medium in an earth-pressured room and yielding a pressure opposing to the earth pressure and an underground water pressure in the earth-pressured room by releasing the mixture, especially in the case of excavating a tunnel and a micro tunnel with supporting the surface and encircling the underground water by using a shield system operated with an earth pressure shield, and the mixture of the soil with the gel is produced by mixing and agitation in the excavating area or by a conveyer screw for supporting the above mentioned surface and encircling the underground water.
