PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bevel toothed belt of low noise, free from the generation of worn powder caused by the rubbing against a pulley, by forming the whole area from a back face of the bevel toothed belt in which a core wire is buried, and of which a tooth flank side is coated with canvas, with a urethane elastomer, and coating the both faces of the canvas with latex. SOLUTION: A part from a back face 10 to a tooth flank 11 of a bevel toothed belt 1 is formed of a urethane elastomer, an uneven face of the tooth flank 10 side is coated with canvas 13, and plural core wires 12 are buried. The urethane elastomer is obtained by mixing and hardening 100wt.% of a urethane prepolymer, 10-30wt.% of plasticizer, and 8-20wt.% of hardener. The coating quantity of latex to be applied to the both faces of the canvas 13 is 50-200wt.% to the weight of the foundation cloth, ad the both faces of the canvas is further coated with resorcinol formalin latex. As the urethane prepolymer, that composed of one or two kinds of polyester polyole or the like, is used. |
