PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to turn a system to a suspended (stand-by) state while supplying power to an IC card when the current consumption of the IC card is within the current consumption of the whole system even when the current consumption information of the IC card itself is not included in the card and can not be detected. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a means (S21) for measuring the current consumption of an IC card itself, a means (S22) for discriminating whether the measured current consumption value of the IC card is within the current consumption of the whole system or not when the system is turned to a suspended state, a means (S24) for turning off a power supply for the IC card in the suspended state when the current consumption of the IC card exceeds the range as the result of discrimination, and a means (S23) for holding the power supply of the IC card at a current state when the current consumption of the IC card is in the range. |
