PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polarizing plate which attains the compatibility of a small thickness and lightweightness with durability by successively laminating a polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)-base polarizing film, tacky adhesive layer and release film via a tacky adhesive layer or adhesive layer on a specifically constituted light reflection material. SOLUTION: This polarizing plate is constituted by successively laminating the PVA-base polarizing film 5, the tacky adhesive layer 6 and the release film 7 via the tacky adhesive layer 4 or the adhesive layer 4 on the light reflection material formed by laminating a metallic thin-film layer 2 on a synthetic resin base film 1 and a transparent resin coating layer 3 thereon. The PVA-base polarizing film 5 is the film formed by adsorbing iodine and dichromatic dyes in a PVA-base film and orienting the film to impart polarizing performance. Acrylic-, silicone-, rubber-, urethane- and epoxy-base tacky adhesives are used for the tacky adhesive layer 6. A base film of a polyester system which has a release agent layer of a silicone system or fluorine system is used for the release film 7. |
