PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polarizing plate which attains the compatibility of a small thickness and ligtweightness with durability by laminating respective specific films in constituting this polarizing plate. SOLUTION: This polarizing plate is constituted by successively laminating a protective layer 2 consisting of a transparent synthetic resin film on the tacky adhesive surface of a synthetic resin film 1 having a tacky adhesive layer on one side and a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-base polarizing film 4, a tacky adhesive layer 5 and a release film 6 via an adhesive layer 3 thereon. A polyethylene-base film is used for the synthetic resin film 1. Polyester, cellulose diacetate, etc., are used for the protective layer 2. A PVA-base adhesive is used for the adhesive layer 3. A film formed by adsorbing iodine and dichromatic dyes in a PVA-base film and orienting the film to impart polarizing performance to the film is used of the PVA-base polarizing films 4. Tacky adhesives of an acrylic base, silicone base, rubber base, etc., are used for the tacky adhesive layer 5. Any films which meet a sticking stage are usable for the release film 6. |
