PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize an oil level of a lubrication device so as to prevent suction of air by promoting discharge of lubrication oil fed to a frictional engagement element from a spline engaging part and storing the oil in an oil sump quickly. SOLUTION: In a frictional engagement element 2 to which lubrication oil is fed, spline teeth 21 arranged in the outer circumference of a friction plate 20 are engaged with spline grooves 12 arranged in the inner circumference of a circumference wall 11 in a case 10. A width of a lower groove 12a on the circumference wall in the spline grooves 12 is set to be wider than a tooth width of the spline tooth 21 in the friction plate 20 engaged with the groove 12a, and a lubrication oil discharge port 13 connected to the widened spline groove 12a is arranged on the circumference wall 11.
