PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an analysis of an inside of a control portion in a hot water supply device and a sophisticated trouble diagnosis which is impossible with a single hot water supply apparatus, by a method wherein a part which becomes the subject of diagnosis is selected in accordance with a sequence table which teaches the diagnosis sequence of a plurality of parts and analyzing the diagnosis sequence data of the part. SOLUTION: In a diagnosis sequence file 106, a data file which carries out trouble diagnosis support functions corresponding to kinds of apparatuses is stored. When an error code is displayed on a display portion of the hot water supply apparatus stored in an EEPROM of the hot water supply apparatus or a remote controller, a system which is to be checked first is selected in accordance with a sequence table which shows the sequence how a plurality of systems should be subjected to the trouble diagnosis in order. This sequence table is stored in the diagnosis sequence file 106 and is analyzed by means of diagnosis sequence analyzing means 101. The sequence table can change its diagnosis sequence such that, for example, the systems are subjected to the trouble diagnosis in order starting from the system which tends to cause a trouble most frequently in view of a trouble occurrence rate. |
