Motor vehicle door with seal for electrical connections

The motor vehicle door (1) has the bundle of cables (8) connecting electrical equipment fitted in the door brought out through a seal attached to the hinge edge of the door and terminating in a connector that attaches to a complementary connector fitted to the chassis (6) of the vehicle adjacent to the door hinge. The cable bundle is inside a flexible sleeve (11) and fits in a passage (16) formed in the hinge (15) of the door and in a space formed by altering the shape of the inner panel of the door (3,7). The cable bundle terminates in a connector (12) positioned on the chassis to minimise stretching of the cable bundle when the door is opened.
