摘要

FIELD: dials of clocks and other instruments which must be properly discernible under different illumination conditions. SUBSTANCE: scale has base and cover-plate with slits made according to form of signs. Surfaces of slits and base surface adjacent to slits are of dark dull color. External surface of cover-plate is of light color preferably with phosphor. Absorption of rays on surfaces of slits increases contrast and discernibleness of scale signs.
