SUBSTANCE: electroviscous composition contains 2.0-49.9 wt % of aluminum-containing compound, 50.0-97.9 wt % of electrically non- conducting liquid, and at most 10 wt % of soluble special additives. Aluminum-containing compound is interaction product of at least one saturated and/or unsaturated monomer, oligomer, and/or polymer C<SB>3</SB>-C<SB>32</SB>-carboxylic acid having at least two carboxylic groups, its anhydride and/or semiester, alcohol component of which is non-branched or branched mono- or polyatomic C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>12</SB>- alcohols and/or their oligomers, and at least one aluminum alcoholate, alcohol component of which is alifatic non-branched or branched mono- or polyatomic C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>18</SB>-alcohols.
