The method involves taking the desired bit sequence on the transmitter side from a catalogue digital signals with fixed sequences. The following signal is generated and digitally modulated. The signals are concatenated with the bit sequence which minimises the number of bit errors. Each word of the alphabet is combined and modified with the sequence by a bit nonequivalence operation. The word is transmitted to a receiver with a synchronised time reference. The sequence is divided into a sequence of words with a selectable length. Each received word is concatenated with the alphabet using the modulo-2-addition before concatenating with a synchronisation sequence. A synchronisation code is formed from the difference of alphabet and sequence and is correlated with the synchronisation sequence.
