FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used for regulation of thermal conditions in oil producing wells in liquidation of paraffin plugs. According to method, carried out is distribution of supplied heat along well which is effected continuously or in cycles. Maintained in each cross-section of well are extreme values of minimal and maximal ratios of heat delivered per time unit. This allows for melting solid paraffin substrate and for heating liquid oil. Velocity of oil flow through well head is also regulated. Device for realizing aforesaid method has heater which is made up of two isolated from each other combinations of electrodes which are autonomous and embracing each other and are made up of n<SB>1</SB> and n<SB>2</SB> long components respectively. Method allows for regulation of well heating process with taking account of amount of solid paraffin and liquid oil in heated volume of well and velocity of oil outcome from well.
