FIELD: clinical microbiology. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to sanitation of staphylococci bacteria carrying. Method is accomplished by incubating infection agent in media with different concentrations of preparation and revealing minimum bacteriostatic concentration. Subbacteriostatic concentration of preparation is also determined. Simultaneously, test material with subbacteriostatic concentrations of preparation is cultured on nutritive medium containing interferon. Grown up colonies of infecting agent are killed by chloroform vapors. Surface of the medium is flooded by nutritive agar layer with indicator stain of the test culture. Thus covered medium is once more incubated and preparation dose efficiency is judged of from the absence of the test culture growth around stain being examined. EFFECT: improved procedure. 2 tblr
