The deflector assembly, installed in the throat (9) of an enclosed fireplace, consists of an inclined main deflector (1) with a central aperture (4), and additional deflectors (2, 3) above and below it, with ribs (5, 6, 7, 8) forming chicanes between them. The outer edges (10, 11) of the lower deflector are positioned as close as possible to the bottom of the throat. The deflector assembly ensures high quality combustion, with post-combustion taking place at the level of the main deflector's central aperture, created by compression of unburned substances and infrared rays from lower deflector being heated by fireplace flames. |
