Process to produce an elastic suspension unit consisting of one piece in the form of a `C' made up of windings (5) of composite material beds, characterised by the fact that it consists of: A mandrel (1) having an exterior surface (2) developed on a cylindrical surface and a transversal section in the form of an ellipse. One winds on the exterior surface (2) of the mandrel (1), bands (5) of composite material impregnated with a polymerising material, the winding being effected in maintaining the plane of the band parallel to the axis (3) of the cylindrical surface (2) to obtain a winding (50) of beds of composite material. The windings (50) are cut into two pieces (21,22) to obtain two pieces in the form of a `C'. Each of the ends (24) of the `C' are made solid with the anchorage points (26) of the object, and the two wound parts (21,22) are left to polymerise.
