The unreeling support has a frame or base (10) with two parallel rows of rollers (20,21), wheels or cylinders which are rotatably mounted. The front edge of the frame can have, at least over all its length, a rail (40) with a groove (42) or cut out parallel to the rows of pulleys and situated in or slightly above the plane of the rows. The width of the groove or cut out can be between one and three millimetres and preferably two millimetres. The upper face of the rail containing the groove can be oriented at thirty degrees and sixty degrees towards the exterior of the support.
