The cigarette igniter includes an ignition body (40), which serves as a reception for a withdrawable heater insert (50). A luminous ring (10) surrounds the ignition body. Preliminary locking facilities (80-84) are effective between the luminous ring and the connection module (60), for the lowerable preliminary connection of the luminous ring (10) with the connection module (60). The preliminary locking facility includes a tongue (12, fig.5), which belongs to one of the elements, the luminous ring or the connection module (60). The tongue can be a locking tongue, and has a notch (83) projecting radially inwards at its free end.
