<p>Waste liquor from digestion of liquocellulose-containining material, paric. by the sulphate method, is dried to at least 45% dry content and pyrolysed in a reducing atmosphere, giving a sulphide-free soda-containing residue and a H2S-containing gas. Immediately after pyrolysis, the products are cooled by direct heat exchange with a suitable coolant and separated into gaseous, and solid residual, products. Pref. the coolant is water.</p> |
