<p>A polypeptide having the activity of retarding aging; a DNA encoding this polypeptide; a method for breeding livestock with the use of this DNA; a recombinant DNA obtained by integrating this DNA into a vector; a transformant containing this recombinant; a process for producing the above polypeptide by using the transformant; an antibody capable of recognizing the polypeptide; a ligand for the polypeptide; a compound inhibiting the specific bond between the polypeptide and this ligand; a compound promoting the expression of the aging-retarding gene encoding the aging-retarding polypeptide; an oligonucleotide having a sequence consisting of 10 to 50 bases in the base sequence of the above DNA; and remedies for early aging, remedies for adult diseases, and aging resistors prepared with the use of the same.</p> |
