<p>PURPOSE:To securely position and fix a cartridge by providing a driving cam for interlocking a drawer unit with an R/W unit at prescribed timing. CONSTITUTION:A hole 28 is provided inside a frame 29 of a frame 13, and there is a 1st fitting surface 30 to be set up with the drawer unit 16, while the R/W unit 19 is set up on a 2nd fitting surface 31 which is lower than the above fitting surface 30. The upper surface of the driving cam 21 is formed with a slot 32 for moving the unit 16 in prescribed motion, which is engaged with a cam follower provided to one part of the unit 16. Then, the lower surface of the driving cam 21 is formed with a slot 34 for moving the unit 19 in prescribed motion, which is engaged with a cam follower provided to one part of the unit 19. Since the unit 16 is provided on its lower surface side with a latch mechanism 60 equipped also with a function for opening an access door of the cartridge by pressing the rear end side of the cartridge set up on the unit 16, the drawing action is reliable, thus ensuring the positioning and fixing of the cartridge.</p> |
