Energy recovery system during braking in motor vehicles
摘要
At the start of braking, the inlet valves are reversed during the simultaneous closure of the outlet valves and fuel injection nozzles. The engine which moves passively by kinetic energy or force of gravity, works as a compressor. The storage of compressed air provides an energy which was previously converted to waste heat by brake system. The reversing of the engine occurs through the moving of the brake pedal.
