pH monitoring method for uses during concrete production
摘要
The method involves measuring the pH of a cement mixture in concrete or plaster during the production process, so that the incorrect exchange of flue ash for cement can be rapidly recognised. The pH of cement is highly alkaline, while that of the flue ash is much lower. A lowering of the pH value can be used to set off an alarm or stop the process. A pH electrode is positioned at the outlet of a forced mixing device for process control of the production device.
