S-Aryl-dithiazindioxide

Compounds are disclosed having general formula (I), in which R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> independently represent hydrogen, optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl or aryl; and Ar stands for optionally substituted aryl. These compounds have a strong microbicidal action and can be used for controlling undesirable micro-organisms, preferably fungi and bacteria, and thus for protecting plants and materials.
