A binding agent for a growth factor selected from the group consisting of transforming growth factor- beta (TGF- beta ) and platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), comprising a protein-polysaccharide which is obtained from a fungus belonging to Coriolus, and contains about 18 to 38 % by weight of proteins, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or dilute is disclosed.
