<p>An activator of the catching device for lift safety system is described. The device activates a catching apparatus (12) or car brake (11) mounted on a lift car (10), if an excessive speed is detected in an upward or downward direction of a movement or, if there is an uncontrolled movement of the lift car (10). Activation is processed via a cage (20) of connecting rods by means of upper or lower connecting rods (21, 23), whereas the cage (20) of connecting rods transmits a relative movement of a mechanical or electromagnetic monitoring device from the monitoring device to the connecting rods (21, 23). Connection between the cage (20) of connecting rods and the upper and lower connecting rods (21, 23) serves for engagement of these connecting rods which activate the catching apparatus (12) or the car brake (11) depending on whether the relative movement is upwards or downwards.</p> |
